Every year , farmers start to think about planning the next season's plantings. Many dont know what to plant at what season or even the amount of input required and still many have lost to poor timing
The Crop Planning Guide provide information that can help estimate the income and cost of production for different crops on summer fallow and stubble in the various soil zones in the province.
Large variations in yields and costs do exist between producers. Use these budgeting figures as a guide to develop estimates for your own farm. Your past farm records, adjusted for expected changes, can be used to develop your own budgeting figures. Blank planning budget sheets are provided for this purpose.
